What is it?
Student athletes give back to the community by volunteering as a team at local events and activities. We’ve offered free babysitting at Town Meeting, done roadside cleanup for the HB Rotary Fast 5K and volunteered as marshalls and aid station workers. You’ll see us at Brookline’s 250th celebration and the Hollis Old Home Days and helping out at the annual Ski Swap event.
Where do they get the time?
Athletes no longer spend time individually selling products to friends and family to raise money for their team swag. Instead they volunteer that time working together and the Booster Club donates to their team accounts from the Booster Club general fund.
Where does the Booster Club get it’s money?
We host the Nashua Ski Swap every Thanksgiving weekend and run our golf outing each May as fundraisers. The BC parents plan, organize and volunteer along with our athletes to make these events successful fundraisers.
How do I help?
That’s the right question! Parents are invited to participate as volunteers at all Booster Club events as well as being a part of our Booster Club. We meet once each month (calendar on our website) and all parents of current athletes are invited to be a part. Just contact any one of our board members via e-mail and say “I want to participate.”
